Cleansing, Consecrating and Charging Your Tools
Needed:
Incense (sage)
(to the East)
Red Candle
(to the South)
Chalice of Holy Water
(to the West)
Bowl of Earth (or salt)
(to the North)
Silver Candle (I prefer an anointing oil)
(to the Center)
Cast and raise your Magickal Circle
Stand before your altar and pick up your first item to be consecrated
Imagine a glowing golden light coming from the heavens spotlighting the item.
Pass the item over the incense and say:
"By the powers of Air, I cleanse and consecrate this _______for positive means, All negativity is removed from it in any time and all space."
Pass the item over the Red Candle's Flame and say:
"By the powers of Fire I cleanse and consecrate this _______for positive means, All negativity is removed from it in any time and all space."
Dip your fingers into the Chalice of water, sprinkle over the item and say:
"By the powers of Water. I cleanse and consecrate this _______for positive means, All negativity is removed from it in any time and all space."
Dip your fingers into the bowl of Earth (or Salt), sprinkle over the item and say:
"By the powers of Earth, I cleanse and consecrate this _______for positive means, All negativity is removed from it in any time and all space."
Pass the item over the Silver Candle's Flame (or anoint it with the oil) and say:
"By the powers of Spirit, I cleanse and consecrate this _______for positive means, All negativity is removed from it in any time and all space."
Lay the Item on your Pentacle and place your hands (palms down) about an inch over the item, form a triangle with your thumbs and index fingers.
Imagine a silver orb (like a full moon) within the triangle. Let it glow brighter and brighter. Raise energy from your body and gently push it out into the orb.
With your mind, Lower the orb onto the item and let the energy surround and infuse the item.
After the energy is absorbed by the item, say:
"By the Will of the Lord and Lady, I have empowered this ______, May Their blessings shine upon and through it always.
By the Free Will of All,
And with Harm to None,
As I will,
So shall it be done!
So mote it Be!"
Repeat with each item. When finished, lower and open your Magickal Circle, take the remaining Earth and water and pour it outside on the ground and say: "I thank you for the use of Thy Power."
Clean up the area and store your now "Cleansed, Consecrated and Empowered" tools and implements, and remember to "ground" yourself.
