Night of the equinox,
Night of balance.
Tonight all things stand as equals:
Goddess and God, Life and Death, Light and Dark.
But tonight
The light will conquer the dark and new life will burst forth on the face of Mother Earth.
O Great Goddess, you have freed yourself from the icy prison of winter.
Now is the greening, when the fragrance of flowers drifts on the breeze.
This is the beginning. Life renews itself by Your magick, Earth Goddess.
The God stretches and rises, eager in his youth, and bursting with the promise of summer.
pick up seeds from altar
I walk the earth in friendship, not in dominance.
Mother Goddess and Father God,
Instill within me through these plants a warmth for all living things.
Teach me to revere the Earth and all its treasures
May I never forget.

With Goddess light and God's pure strength,
I bless this wine that it may strengthen my body as it does my spirit

With the partaking of this cup,
I take into my body that of the Goddess....
May her Light and Love guide me

With Goddess light and God's pure strength,
I bless this bounty that it may strengthen my body as it does my spirit
As grain is the bounty of the Goddess,
The eating of it denotes the continuing circle of life and the seasons.
It shows the sacrifice of the Lord and his rebirth
